April 11 – Wall Build at Zionsville Christian Church with over 50 volunteers lending a hand to build. The walls were then transported and erected on the Ball Street site that afternoon.
April 14-18- Outside sheathing and trusses were built for the roof
April 21- 25 – Roof was raised! Windows installed and roof decking was put on. Rough in electric wiring was started.

Spring is here and we are excited to get starting on our 2015 Habitat homes. This year we will be building 4 homes in Lebanon.
The Wall Build dates have been set. Please join us in nailing the walls together. This is a family event for anyone who can hammer a nail. Children are invited!

Rick Bump from Christ Lutheran Church in Zionsville was honored as the " 2014 Habitat for Humanity Boone County Volunteer of the Year" at the Spring fundraiser. In praising Rick at the banquet, Steve Furste, executive director for HFHBC said "We're blessed to have Rick as part of our team." Rick was a tireless worker and demonstrated incredible patience and knowledge as he instructed our volunteers. Congratulations Rick!

Partnership with City and Habitat for Humanity Begins
The city of Lebanon and Habitat of Boone County began a partnership and a shared vision of neighborhood revitalization in the South Meridian neighborhood last Thursday with the demo of the tornado damages house at 1412 S. Meridian. The second home across the street will be torn down next week.
