Habitat for Humanity of Boone County (HFHBC) dedicated its 8th annual Apostles Build on Saturday, October 11, 2014 for a single mom and her daughter. This year’s build was in Thorntown, IN and over 25 volunteers and HFHBC board members and staff celebrated its second build for Paige Groves and her daughter Kaylee, 7. Partnership with City and Habitat for Humanity Begins
The city of Lebanon and Habitat of Boone County began a partnership and a shared vision of neighborhood revitalization in the South Meridian neighborhood last Thursday with the demo of the tornado damages house at 1412 S. Meridian. The second home across the street will be torn down next week.

Drs. Mike and Mary Kaufmann spent hours, and with the help of friendly electricians, completed an outdoor Christmas light show at their Brownsburg home synchronized to Christmas music. A display of over 4000 lights along with classic holiday songs proved to be a real holiday treat for both surrounding neighbors and families from all over the greater northwest side of Indianapolis.
